SWAG Booster Packs

Level up your swag game and boost your geocaching energy!

In each archival Booster Pack are Swag cards randomly selected from Cache Line HQ’s growing annals of catalogued geocache swag, as documented by Cache Hunter agents while on mission.

Of the increasing catalogue of unique items to discover, most are fairly common things - but some items have exhibited signs of transdimensional activity and travel. These are rare relics!

Find and collect as many as you can! Trade them, leave them in geocaches as swag, or collect them to boost your future adventures.

They may come in handy when YOU become a Cache Hunter yourself...

Questions and answers...

As a trading card game, how many cards are there to collect?
Of the SWAG card class alone there are hundreds of unique cards in the expanding series, now in its 2nd generation (with codes OS1* and OS2*) with many other expansion cards. CLHQ is regularly expanding their archive as their archeology and exploration teams report their findings.
Are there different types of swag cards, and rarer items?
Within the swag card series there are Common, Rare, and Super-rare classes. Relics - swag that has detectable traces of transdimensional activity - are Rare items, and some have extra abilities. The higher the star value, or the more abilities it has, the rarer the card. Relics are also tagged with any Fortitude energy that CLHQ has detected, which can provide additional benefits and abilities, especially to those who possess Cache Line Artifacts.
Are these card family friendly?
These cards are intended to be as family-friendly as swag you might find in a geocache! Although, if you find rotten food in a geocache, that wouldn't be the same as if you found a rotten food swag card. Of course, whether you'd want to keep that card, that's up to you!
What do I do with these cards?
You can expand your collection by keeping them, or you can treat them as geocache swag and leave them in geocaches!
If I collect them, how will these cards affect the Cache Hunters game?
When you find a geocache with swag-- well, you know the mandate if you see something you like: 'trade up or trade even!' In Cache Hunters, Swag cards are a type of currency. Some items may affect gameplay with unique abilities, so the more swag you collect, the more chance you'll have to improve your adventurers' cache hunting abilities!
Are there other exclusive cards not available in the booster pack?
The main Booster Packs (each generation, coded as OS1*, OS2* etc) contain randomized cards from the series of hundreds of cards. There are additional expansion cards - beyond swag cards - that are currently available by other means for Cache Hunters, and there will be endless more to come in the future!
When will the full Cache Hunters game be released?
You can build up your collection of Swag before the full game is released and be ready to enhance your adventures - the game is currently very roughly aiming to release in 2026 as crowdfunding campaign.
Are there any other announcements or details about these cards?
A pre-launch announcement live event was streamed on Youtube by Cache The Line.
